Packet Pickup & Race Day Information

Packet pickup details and race day instructions are available on the race‑specific website.

Please visit your race‑specific event page for exact dates, times, and locations.



Packet Pickup Policy


  • QR Code Required: Your QR code is required to pick up your race packet. It is included in your RunSignup registration confirmation email, sent immediately after registration.


Can’t Find Your QR Code?

  1. Log into www.runsignup.com
  2. Select your Profile Picture (top right) → Profile
  3. Find the event under Upcoming Events
  4. Select Resend Confirmation


 Important Notices

  • All changes must be made before the deadline and cannot be made at packet pickup
  • If race packet delivery was not purchased, you must attend packet pickup the day before the race
  • No packet pickup is allowed after pickup closes – NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Picking up for others is allowed with their QR code
  • Picking up for 20 or more participants? Email us at least 1 week in advance with your estimated pickup time.



Race Packet Delivery


If you purchased the VIP Package or Race Packet Delivery Add‑On:

  • Your packet will be shipped 7–10 days before race day
  • A tracking email will be sent once shipped
  • Orders are limited to one per person



How to Manage Your Registration


Changes must be completed BEFORE the 30‑day deadline.


Option 1: From Your Confirmation Email

  • Select Manage Registration above your QR code


Option 2: From RunSignup

  1. Log into www.runsignup.com
  2. Profile Picture → Profile
  3. Select your event under Upcoming Events
  4. Choose Manage Registration


Available Options

  • Transfer Event (upgrade/downgrade distance, virtual/in‑person)
  • Transfer to Another Race (within the series)
  • Transfer to Someone Else
  • Add‑Ons (packet delivery, VIP access, swag, spectator passes, challenges)
  • Giveaway (shirt size changes)
  • Shipping (update shipping address for this event)
  • Estimated Time
  • Team Challenge
  • Defer Registration (see Deferral section below)



Deferring to Next Year


Step 1: Defer (Before Deadline)

  • Must be completed 30 days before race day or before sell‑out

Step 2: Complete Deferral (When Next Year Registration Opens)

  1. Log into www.runsignup.com
  2. Profile Picture → Profile
  3. Select Deferrals
  4. Choose Complete Deferral
  5. Select Start Transfer
  6. Deferrals not completed when registration opens will be forfeited.



Inclement Weather Policy

  • Events are held rain or shine
  • Lightning at start time delays the race 15 minutes
  • Continued lightning may lead to additional delay or cancellation
  • If canceled, no refunds will be issued



Refund Policy


  • All registrations are NON‑REFUNDABLE
  • Applies regardless of injury, illness, pregnancy, emergencies, or weather
  • No exceptions



Transfer Policies


Transfer Event (Distance Change)

  • Deadline: Before packet pickup closes the day before the race
  • Fee: $30
  • No transfers to sold‑out distances


Transfer to Another Race

  • Deadline: 30 days before race day
  • Fee: $30


Defer to Next Year

  • Deadline: 30 days before race day
  • Fee: $30


Transfer to Virtual

  • Deadline: Race Day
  • Results due within 1 week after race day
  • Fee: $30


Transfer to Someone Else

  • Deadline: Before packet pickup closes
  • Fee: $0



Parking

  • Cost: $10 (Credit Card Only)
  • Pre‑Pay Option: Available through parking.com
  • Parking opens 2–3 hours before race start
  • Arrive at least 1 hour before your start time

Late arrivals will not be allowed to start



Race Start Requirements

  • Arrive 1 hour prior to start time
  • Line up in your corral 10–25 minutes before start
  • Start with your registered distance only
  • Corrals close once the race starts
  • Late starters will be disqualified – no exceptions.



Bib Requirements

  • Bibs must be worn facing forward on the front of your shirt
  • Required to enter corrals and be on course
  • Anyone without a bib will be removed from the course



Race Restrictions & Policies

  • Start Groups: Assigned A–E by estimated finish time
  • Walking: Allowed, must finish before course closure
  • Age: All ages allowed; bib required for everyone
  • Strollers: Not Allowed
  • Headphones: Not Allowed
  • Prohibited: Bikes, skates, non‑official wheeled vehicles
  • Wheelchairs: Allowed, no separate division
  • Drones: Personal drones prohibited (FAA controlled airspace)



Did Not Finish (DNF)

Participants will be marked DNF if:

  • The registered distance is not completed
  • Course closure time is exceeded


Course Time Limits

  • Marathon & Half Marathon: 6 hours 30 minutes
  • 5K & 10K: 2 hours 30 minutes



Water Stations & Aid

  • Located every 1.5–2 miles
  • Water & Gatorade provided
  • Marathon & Half Marathon only: Pickle Juice, bananas, oranges
  • Participants may carry personal hydration



Portable Toilets

  • Available every 1.5–2 miles along the course



VIP Area Access

  • VIP purchasers will be on the VIP list
  • Check in at the VIP area on race day to receive wristband



Shirts & Merchandise

  • Gender‑specific adult sizes only
  • No youth sizes at this time


Exchanges

  • Must bring original shirt
  • No worn shirts accepted
  • Limited to inventory available


Donations

The Argyle Marathon Signature Series supports and facilitates the donation to  Argyle Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. All donations are made directly to the nonprofit organization. We  encourage everyone to make donation via donation page.



Discounts

  • Early bird pricing: 40–60% off
  • Multi‑person discount: $5 off (5+ registrants)
  • Multi‑race bundle discounts: 10–15%



Road Closures

  • Roads are not fully closed
  • Right lane remains open to traffic
  • Off‑duty police manage intersections for safety
